The following archetypes share something in common. Namely the simple horizontal and vertical lines that connect with each other. The dimensions of these lines defines whether it is a stool or a chair. The tables structure is very architectural, meanwhile the chair can be very poetic whether it is organic or geometric. The sculpture of a chair is aimed to be comforting for the body.
Bureau CAY will be launching four collections based:
Vol 1. Stool
Vol 2. Chair
Vol 3. Bench
Vol 4. Table
For my graduation project I will be elaborating on the stool as a starting point to prove my concept and approach. This will lead to the expression to my brand the design propositions forming the first collection.
